She Stops On The Highway To Rescue A Dog That Got Lost During A Snowstorm

A woman who cared for a stray puppy who was freezing to death on a Texas highway used tortillas to provide warmth and food for the pup.

During the winter storms that raged over the majority of the United States, people banded together to help innumerable animals in distress.

When Kristin Salinas went food shopping, she had her family in mind. On her walk home, she stumbled across a shivering stray dog. Animal lover Kristin didn’t hesitate to come up with a strategy to save a distressed puppy in need of assistance.

Because he is afraid, the animal is extremely cautious. It was difficult to save a significant number of people since the dog did not allow anyone to approach him. In order to save him, Kristin utilized her newly acquired tortillas from the store.

However, the dog was still wary of the human, despite the woman creating a tortilla-slice path for the dog to follow to her car When Kristin was unable to attract him with tortillas for more than 30 minutes, she refused to give up and tried to save him as much as she could.

The fearful Labrador approached Kristin’s car and climbed into the back seat after only a short wait time.

“We’re trying to assist the dogs understand what’s going on,” Christine told Fox San Antonio. Helping animals in need is an important cause, and I hope that everyone would do their part.

In spite of the fact that the only main purpose of the event was to save as many pets as possible, the woman claimed that she had no knowledge she was being filmed at the time. This isn’t the first time she has saved a dog in need, she told local media. She routinely helps abandoned animals on the streets.

To ensure the dog had a comfortable night’s sleep, the woman took him home and did everything in her power to keep him warm.

If she is unable to locate the dog’s owners by the following day, she plans to seek a home for him through an Animal Assistance Center with their assistance. One of Kristin’s Facebook photos of the recovered dog went placed on the San Antonio, Texas – Lost Dog, Cat & Pets group.

To achieve the ultimate goal, it is hoped the dog will be returned to his family, but if this is not possible, the dog will be taken in by a loving home.
