Dog Sees Her Parents Sword Fighting And Demands To Play, Too

Pinto Bean’s parents have been filming TikTok movies since 2020, and one of their favorite things to include is stage combat. As a result, Pinto Bean has spent her whole childhood watching them pretend-fight with fake swords, and one day she decided she wanted to join in.

The pair was filming a new movie in a field when Pinto Bean noticed a giant stick nearby and seized the opportunity.

“She snatched up the stick and started chasing me down, waving the staff around like it was her own sword,” Pinto Bean’s mother, Anna Kimbro, told The Dodo. “I pretended to ‘stop’ her blows with my sword, and she was having a great time avoiding and attacking.” Finally, I let her’slay’ me and fell to the ground dramatically as she tapped me with her stick.”

Pinto Bean instantly opted to seize Kimbro’s sword as her prize after she collapsed.

“Pinto dropped her stick to pick up the blade and flee as though she had just stolen my dead body,” Kimbro stated. “She’d learnt all of that from watching us, so we began giving her the sword she’d stolen from me to use as her own, and the rest is history.”

Pinto Bean now owns the foam prop after winning the sword in battle. She also has a small fake dagger that she enjoys wielding. She knows it’s time to battle when she sees any of those. Pinto Bean has been with her parents every time they do any kind of stage fighting since the first day she got involved, and she loves every minute of it.

Pinto Bean has advanced to the level of professional swordfighter. Playing with her swords is part of her routine, and she appears to believe that this is something that all dogs do with their humans.

“We normally play with her sword once or twice a week,” Kimbro said. “We don’t always record it for TikTok or Instagram, but she enjoys getting her exercise that way, so we try to do it quite frequently.” Almost every day, even if we don’t pull her sword out, she’ll grab a stick and try to ‘battle’ with it. She’s even tried to ‘fight’ my parents’ dog, Luna (her best buddy), with a stick a number of times, and she appeared astonished when Luna ran away like, ‘Ahhh, what are you doing?’ and didn’t grab a stick to fight back.”

It’s odd for a dog’s favorite hobby to be stage combat, but it just works for Pinto Bean.
