Cat Becomes Best Friends with Huge German Shepherd

When Eliza learned of a cat that needed a home, she was a little hesitant at first as she never thought of herself as a ‘cat person.’

But her love for animals was enough to rescue Alvin from the humane society and give him the forever home that he needed and deserved.

Then when Eliza brought Baron the dog home, she was intrigued to see how Alvin would react to his new canine companion.

As an adorable German Shepherd puppy, Baron was active and loved playing around Alvin. But he quickly grew into a gentle giant, and the two became inseparable, in spite of their size (and species) difference!

One day Baron started having seizures which understandably worried Eliza. At first, she wasn’t sure how to treat them, so she took the dog to the vet to understand the condition better.

Instinctively, however, Alvin recognized that something was wrong with his canine companion. He went up to him and showered him with love and affection, and it was clear to Eliza just how strong the bond between the pair was.

Happily, Baron’s condition has been treated by meds and he hasn’t had a seizure in months. But Alvin hasn’t stopped nursing and looking out for his best friend. Every day he licks his face and showers him with affection, showing him that he’s there for his buddy no matter what.

Baron loves it so much that he often approaches Alvin specifically for kisses and cuddles! But like every friendship, the pair have their moments, too. They enjoy playing fighting with one another, which can sometimes get a little out of hand.

But after they’re done, they quickly settle down and relax in each other’s company. For Eliza, it was a very happy accident that the pair came together, and she couldn’t be happier with the bond they have together.
