Adorable moment when orphaned bear is reunited with human rescuer after years apart

Reunions are usually pleasant, especially between orphaned animals and the individuals who used to console them during their darkest hours. It’s always good to have a large hug, whether it’s from a tiny puppy or a massive wild animal, just like in the old days. So, when an 800-pound bear is reunited with an old human friend after a few years apart, the reaction is nothing short of adorable.

Orphaned Wildlife Center

A bear’s reunion with the man who cared for her when she was a young cub is captured on film. The lovely scene transpired at the Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York, and it demonstrates why these giants are dubbed friendly by everyone.

Sonya, like any other orphaned animal, was unhappy and afraid when rescuers brought her to the shelter after her mother died. But, because to people like Jonathan, she, like many other animals, has learned to appreciate life once more. Sonya was a young cub when she came, and Jonathan looked after her for many years. They spent a lot of time together, which caused them to bond in an special way.

Sonya, unfortunately, cannot be returned into the wild, thus the wildlife center is her permanent residence. Her old friend Jonathan, on the other hand, decided to surprise her by paying her a visit recently. Jonathan doesn’t know if the bear remembers him because they haven’t seen each other in years.

However, as the video reveals, Sonya not only remembered the man who raised her, but she was overjoyed to see him again!

“Johnathan used to be one of her caretakers when she was a young cub,” a center representative stated. “She hadn’t seen him in many, many years, but he just paid her a visit to see if she remembered him.” She remembered not only Johnathan, but also the game they used to play when she was a kid.”

They hugged and played together, just as they used to. You must witness this amazing moment:
